Hamid Atiq

Hamid Atiq is a seasoned banking and risk professional with over 21 years of experience across customer services and consumer credit risk. In his current role as Product Manager at BCEM, he focuses on designing and scaling Sharia-compliant retail asset financing products—connecting customer needs, product structuring, risk controls, and service execution to support responsible growth and strong customer outcomes. Prior to BCEM, he held senior leadership roles in credit policy and operational risk, including Vice President-level responsibilities at Silkbank and UBL, and earlier experience with Citibank. Across these roles, he worked on strengthening underwriting policies, operational risk controls, service quality, complaint resolution governance, and performance reporting through KPIs and KRIs. Hamid holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Northwest (USA) – UK Campus, London, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi.
